  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • In a medium bowl, combine the apple slices, melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; toss to coat evenly.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes, then arrange the seasoned apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are tender and slightly caramelized.
  • Serve warm on their own, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

For crispier apples, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. You can also add a pinch of ginger for extra flavor.
