  • 2 fillets Salmon fillets about 6 ounces each, wild-caught if possible
  • 12-16 Large shrimp raw, peeled, and deveined, tail-on or off
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon and shrimp dry, then season generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • Sear salmon in 1 tablespoon of olive oil for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked, then remove and set aside.
  • Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the same skillet, cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink, then remove and set aside.
  • Add butter to the skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute, then add heavy cream and broth, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and sauce thickens; adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Return salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spoon sauce over seafood, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the seasoned seafood sit for 10-15 minutes before cooking. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
