  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 3 tablespoons apple syrup
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • Ice cubes as needed

  • 1 slice fresh apple
  • cinnamon a pinch

Preparation

  • To make apple syrup, combine equal parts apple juice or cider with sugar in a saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves, then let it cool completely.

Assembly

  • Brew coffee stronger than usual and chill it to room temperature or in the fridge.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour 3 tablespoons of cooled apple syrup into the glass, followed by ½ cup of oat milk.
  • Slowly pour the chilled coffee over the milk layer.
  • Stir well to combine and garnish with a fresh apple slice or a sprinkle of cinnamon, then serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a dark roast coffee. Adjust the amount of apple syrup to your sweetness preference.
