Ingredients

For the Wraps

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 4-6 Large Flour Tortillas burrito size
  • 4-6 slices American Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Finely Diced Dill Pickles
  • 1/4 cup Finely Diced White Onion
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

For the Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Sweet Relish
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp White Vinegar or Pickle Juice

Instructions

Special Sauce

  • Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and vinegar in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth, then refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to meld flavors.

Cook Beef

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up until no pink remains. Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and optional onion/garlic powder.

Warm Wraps

  • Warm tortillas for 15-30 seconds per side in a dry skillet, microwave, or oven to make them pliable.

Assemble

  • Lay a warmed tortilla flat, spread 1-2 tablespoons of special sauce down the center. Top with seasoned ground beef and a slice of American cheese.

Add Veggies

  • Sprinkle shredded lettuce, diced pickles, and diced onion evenly over the cheese.

Wrap and Serve

  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom. Serve immediately, optionally cutting each wrap in half diagonally.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of your favorite hot sauce to the special sauce. You can also toast the assembled wraps lightly in a dry skillet for a crispy exterior and melted cheese interior.
