Equipment

  • Oven
  • Mini Muffin Tin
  • Sharp Knife or Pizza Cutter

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4-6 ounces brie cheese rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cranberry sauce whole berry or homemade

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • chopped pecans

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly flour a clean surface; unfold the thawed puff pastry, gently rolling it to a 10x10-inch square if needed.
  • Cut the puff pastry into 24 even 2-inch squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  • Lightly grease a mini muffin tin and carefully press each pastry square into the cups, allowing the corners to slightly overhang.
  • Place a cube of brie cheese in the center of each puff pastry square, then top with about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.

Baking and Serving

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the brie is melted and bubbly, carefully monitoring as ovens vary.
  • Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the bites cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a serving platter.
  • Optionally, garnish with a small sprig of fresh rosemary or a sprinkle of chopped pecans before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure your puff pastry is completely thawed but still cold before handling. If you don't have a mini muffin tin, you can use a regular muffin tin, but you will yield fewer, larger bites and may need to adjust baking time slightly.
