  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 large Lemon for juice and optional wedges for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • If using frozen shrimp, thaw and pat them very dry with paper towels.

Cooking

  • Toss the dried shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl until evenly coated.
  • Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add minced garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add seasoned shrimp to the hot skillet in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque, cooking in batches if needed.
  • Remove from heat, squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, and stir in chopped parsley and optional butter until melted.

Serving
