Main

  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillets skin-on or off
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill optional, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C), then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, or lightly grease your air fryer basket.

Make the Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Prepare Salmon

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
  • Generously brush the honey mustard glaze over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.

Cook Salmon

  • Oven: Bake for 10-15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily. Air Fryer: Air fry for 8-12 minutes, checking for doneness around 8 minutes.

Serve

  • Remove the salmon from the oven or air fryer and, if desired, garnish with fresh chopped parsley or dill before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey mustard glaze for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the amount of honey and mustard to your taste preference.
