  • 8-10 count Flour Tortillas 6-8 inch
  • 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce your favorite store-bought or homemade Marinara
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni sliced (mini pepperoni works great)
  • 1/2 cup Cooked Italian Sausage crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Cooked Ham diced
  • Olive Oil or Cooking Spray for the pan

  • Parmesan Cheese for serving
  • Red Pepper Flakes for serving
  • Dried Oregano for serving

Preparation

  • If using uncooked Italian sausage, brown it in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up and draining excess grease; dice the ham if not already diced.

Assembly

  • Lay out tortillas and spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on one half of each.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and ham evenly over the sauced half.
  • Fold the empty half of the tortilla over the toppings to create a half-moon shape.

Cooking Methods

  • For pan-frying, heat a skillet with olive oil or cooking spray and cook tacos 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  • For baking, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), place tacos on a baking sheet, and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and cheese is bubbling.

Serving

  • Transfer cooked pizza tacos to a plate and optionally top with Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes before serving immediately.

You can customize the meat fillings with your favorite pizza toppings. A tortilla press can be helpful if you want to make your own fresh tortillas.
