Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillets skin-on or skinless, preferably wild-caught
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Lemons one thinly sliced, one for juicing and serving
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Dill or 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika smoked paprika recommended
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground, or to taste

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley or chives

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or greased foil.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Seasoning & Baking

  • Drizzle olive oil over the salmon, then sprinkle with a mixture of minced garlic, dried dill, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Arrange lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet.
  • Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serving

  • Remove from the oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked salmon, and garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to your preference. Wild-caught salmon is recommended for its flavor and health benefits. For best results, avoid overcooking the salmon to keep it moist and tender.
