  • 1 pound lean ground turkey (93% lean or higher)
  • 1 onion, chopped medium
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth (Optional)

Cooking Steps

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil or avocado oil until shimmering.
  • Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened; then stir in minced garlic for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add lean ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart, and cook for 6-8 minutes until fully browned.
  • Drain excess fat if needed, then stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper; optionally add broth if the turkey is dry.
  • The lean turkey skillet is now ready to use immediately or cool for meal prep.
