Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Medium Bowl
  • Whisk

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 18-24 oz Frozen Meatballs (beef, turkey, or vegetarian)

Instructions

Sauce Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together ketchup, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and ginger until smooth and well combined.

Cooking

  • Place frozen meatballs directly into the slow cooker. Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce evenly over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours, until heated through and tender, with a slightly thickened sauce.

Serving

  • Give the meatballs a final stir and serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Adjust the cook time based on your slow cooker and the initial state of the meatballs. For a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking or mix a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water) into the sauce during the last 15 minutes.
