Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough

Sauce

  • ½ - ¾ cup Pizza Sauce marinara suggested

Cheese

  • 1 ½ - 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded

Toppings

  • 1-2 cups Toppings pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers suggested

Other

  • 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons Cornmeal or Flour

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker insert with olive oil and sprinkle with cornmeal or flour.
  • Stretch the pizza dough into a circle that fits the bottom of your slow cooker, forming a slight lip around the edges.

Assembly

  • Carefully transfer the shaped dough into the greased slow cooker insert.
  • Evenly spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Arrange your desired toppings over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings.

Cooking and Serving

  • Place paper towels or a thin kitchen towel under the lid to absorb condensation, then cook on LOW for 2-3 hours or HIGH for 1-1.5 hours until the crust is done and cheese is melted.
  • Carefully remove the pizza using two spatulas, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, avoid overloading with toppings to ensure even cooking. The paper towel trick is crucial for preventing a soggy crust.
