  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 envelope (1 oz) Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 cups Cooked White Rice
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Black Olives optional
  • 1/2 cup Salsa
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Green Onions

  • Diced avocado
  • corn
  • black beans
  • pickled jalapeƱos
  • cilantro

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, then drain excess grease.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 5-7 minutes until the liquid evaporates and meat is coated.
  • Divide cooked rice evenly among four serving bowls.
  • Spoon the seasoned taco meat over the rice in each bowl.
  • Arrange shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sliced black olives (if using) around the meat.
  • Top each bowl with salsa, sour cream, and green onions; add any desired optional toppings.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the flavors.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute white rice with brown rice or quinoa. Adjust spice level by adding more or less taco seasoning.
