Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the dough. You can chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
