  • 2 medium apples Honeycrisp or Fuji recommended
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust to taste
  • oil spray Avocado or coconut oil

Preparation

  • Wash, peel, and core your apples, then slice them into evenly sized fry shapes, about 1/4 inch thick.

Seasoning & Air Frying

  • In a bowl, toss the apple slices with cornstarch, cinnamon, and sugar until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C), then spray the basket with oil and arrange the apple fries in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like caramel, yogurt, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can lightly mist the fries with oil spray after coating them with the dry ingredients. Adjust sweetness based on the natural sweetness of your apples. These are best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes.
