  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1.5 pounds baby Yukon gold potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 5 tablespoons butter, cut into pads

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place beef stew meat in one half of the crockpot and baby potatoes on the other side.
  • Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt evenly over both sides.
  • Gently toss the beef to coat evenly in the seasoning, keeping it separated from the potatoes.
  • Add chopped garlic on top of the meat and potatoes.
  • Place butter pads over the entire dish.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • When done, spoon the garlic butter sauce from the bottom over the beef and potatoes.

Notes

Serve the beef bites and potatoes hot, straight from the crockpot. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables, a fresh salad, or warm bread to soak up the sauce. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
