Dump and Go Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

This easy crockpot teriyaki chicken recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal. Just dump all the ingredients in your slow cooker and let it do the work!

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • green onions sliced, for garnish

  • Add chicken thighs, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to the crockpot and stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the crockpot.
  • Cook on high for another 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal. This recipe also works well with boneless, skinless chicken breasts, but cooking time may vary slightly.
