  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (3-4 breasts)
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

Seasoning

  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper to create a paste.

Baking

  • Place the dried chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and rub the seasoning paste generously over each piece.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Resting

  • Remove chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes on the baking sheet or a cutting board before slicing and serving.

Notes

For juicier chicken, ensure not to overcook and always let it rest before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
