  • 4 items boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs total
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning blend
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare the chicken breasts by patting them dry and pounding them to an even thickness if needed.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and all the seasonings.
  • Place the chicken in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet and pour the seasoning mixture over it, ensuring each piece is well coated.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the oven, tent with foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the seasoning mixture for at least 30 minutes before baking. You can also add some vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers to the baking dish during the last 15-20 minutes of baking for a complete one-pan meal.
