Crostini

  • 1 baguette thinly sliced and lightly toasted
  • 4 oz fresh goat cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup fig jam or preserves
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix pecans with maple syrup, cinnamon, and cloves. Spread onto a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until fragrant; let cool.

Assembly

  • Spread goat cheese evenly on each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top the goat cheese with a dollop of fig jam.
  • Sprinkle the spiced pecans over the fig jam.
  • Arrange the crostini on a platter and garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, lightly brush the baguette slices with olive oil before toasting. You can also prepare the spiced pecans ahead of time and store them in an airtight container.
