  • Pour in 2 tablespoons of milk or heavy cream and vanilla extract, beating on low, then medium-high for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of meringue powder and beat on medium-high speed for 3-5 minutes until the frosting is stable, shiny, and holds its shape.
  • Adjust consistency by adding more milk or cream, 1 teaspoon at a time, to reach desired thickness for piping or flooding.

Ensure your butter is truly at room temperature for the best creaming results. Sifting the powdered sugar is crucial for a smooth frosting free of lumps.
