  • 2 cans Canned whole kernel corn, drained 15 oz can
  • 1 can Canned creamed corn 15 oz can
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Honey Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, sour cream, melted butter, cornstarch, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the casserole is set.
  • While baking, whisk together honey and melted butter for the glaze in a small bowl.
  • Remove the casserole, pour the honey glaze evenly over the top, and return to the oven for 5 minutes to set.
  • Remove from the oven and let stand for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

For an extra crunch, you can top the casserole with crushed Ritz crackers mixed with a tablespoon of melted butter before baking. If you prefer a less sweet dish, reduce the amount of honey in the glaze.
