Cooking Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package directions in salted water.
While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then add sliced garlic and chili flakes, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Add halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they soften and burst.
Drain the spaghetti, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water, and add the spaghetti to the pan with the sauce.
Toss everything together, adding a splash of reserved pasta water to create a silky sauce, and stir in fresh parsley and grated Parmesan.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch more chili flakes. You can also add some cooked shrimp or chicken for a more substantial meal.
