Equipment

  • Large pot or deep skillet
  • Stirring spoon

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 300 g Spaghetti
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 600 ml Chicken or Vegetable Broth
  • 200 ml Heavy Cream
  • 50 g Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Break the spaghetti in half and add it to the pot along with the chicken or vegetable broth, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  • Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and forms a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash more broth or cream.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic. You can also customize by adding cooked chicken or vegetables during the last few minutes of cooking.
