Ingredients
  

Broth Base

  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or more, to taste
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Garnish (Optional)

  • green onions sliced
  • sesame seeds

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the vegetable broth, peanut butter, soy sauce, sriracha, grated ginger, and minced garlic.

Cooking

  • Whisk the ingredients until well combined and bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broth has slightly thickened and the flavors have melded.

Serving

  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and taste, adjusting the sriracha or soy sauce if needed. Ladle the hot broth into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Notes

This broth is excellent served with ramen noodles, steamed vegetables, or tofu for a more substantial meal. Feel free to adjust the spiciness to your preference by adding more or less sriracha.
