  • 1 lb green beans
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Preparation

  • Wash and trim the ends off the green beans. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds before serving.
