  • thin slices Smoked Salmon cold-smoked
  • 1 Baguette sliced and toasted
  • 4 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Capers drained
  • to taste Black pepper
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine softened cream cheese, chopped fresh dill, and lemon zest in a small bowl until well mixed.
  • Lightly toast baguette slices until golden brown.
  • Spread a generous layer of the dill cream cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
  • Gently fold or roll a slice of cold-smoked salmon and place it on top of the cream cheese.
  • Garnish each crostini with a few capers and a sprinkle of fresh black pepper.
  • Drizzle lightly with olive oil just before serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality cold-smoked salmon. You can prepare the dill cream cheese mixture an hour ahead and keep it refrigerated. Adjust the amount of dill and lemon zest to your personal preference.
