  • Mix in crumbled bacon, minced red onion, and smoked paprika until evenly distributed.
  • Form the mixture into a neat ball using your hands.
  • Cover the cheese ball tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results, to firm up.
  • Just before serving, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in your chosen coating, pressing gently to ensure an even layer. Serve with crackers, bagel chips, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can toast the pecans or walnuts lightly before chopping for the coating. This recipe is easily customizable; feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add a pinch of garlic powder for an aromatic twist.
