Speedy Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon Bowls

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillets skin on or off, divided into 4 portions
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2-3 tablespoons Sriracha adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger grated, optional
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • Green Onions sliced, for garnish
  • 3-4 cups Cooked Rice brown, white, or jasmine
  • Preferred Vegetables e.g., steamed broccoli, sautéed snap peas, roasted bell peppers

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then pat salmon fillets dry.

Cooking

  • Place salmon on the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over each fillet, reserving the rest.
  • Bake for 12-18 minutes until cooked through; brush with more glaze during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Alternatively, pan-sear salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, flip, brush with remaining glaze, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until done.

Assembly & Serving

  • While salmon cooks, prepare rice and vegetables, then divide cooked rice among four bowls and add salmon and vegetables to each.
  • Drizzle any remaining glaze over the salmon and rice, then garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for at least 15 minutes before cooking. Adjust sriracha to your preferred spice level. Serve with a wedge of lime for a bright finish.
