  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon large, for juice and zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

  • Thaw frozen shrimp if using, then pat them dry. Mince the garlic, chop the parsley, and prepare the lemon for juicing and zesting.
  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  • Once the oil is shimmering, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Remove the skillet from heat, squeeze in lemon juice, and sprinkle with chopped parsley; gently toss.
  • Transfer the shrimp to plates and serve immediately.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become rubbery quickly. The key is to cook them until they just turn opaque pink.
