Spicy Bang Bang Salmon with Sesame Garnish

Main

  • 4 Salmon Fillets about 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise full-fat recommended
  • 0.25 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions thinly sliced, for garnish
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then season with oil, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, rice vinegar, and garlic powder until smooth. Adjust seasoning as desired.

Cooking

  • For oven method, place salmon skin-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
  • For air fryer method, place salmon in a single layer in the basket and air fry for 10-14 minutes until cooked through.
  • Once cooked, brush or spoon the Bang Bang sauce generously over each fillet.

Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust Sriracha to your preferred spice level. For crispier salmon skin, start skin-side up in the oven or air fryer and flip halfway through cooking if desired.
