Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake the tater tots for 20-30 minutes until deeply golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove the hot tater tots from the oven and spread 1.5 cups of Colby Jack cheese evenly over them.
  • Spoon the spicy ranch chicken mixture over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded Colby Jack cheese over the chicken.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Carefully remove from oven, then garnish with chopped green onions, optional bacon bits, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra kick, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture. Adjust Sriracha to your preferred spice level. These nachos are best enjoyed fresh to maintain crispiness of the tater tots.
