  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 egg whisked (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface, pressing seams together to form a single rectangle.

Assembly

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough, then arrange salami slices to cover it completely.
  • Carefully roll the dough tightly from one long side into a log.
  • Slice the log into ¾-inch thick pinwheels using a sharp knife.

Baking

  • Place pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet and brush their tops with whisked egg wash.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed, then serve warm.

Notes

For a milder flavor, omit the red pepper flakes. These pinwheels can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Adjust baking time as needed for your oven. Serve immediately for best results.
