Ingredients
  

Gummies

  • ½ cup mango puree
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup optional, to taste
  • ¼ cup cold water

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the cold water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom and form a thick paste.
  • Place the saucepan over low heat, add the mango puree, pineapple juice, and optional maple syrup, then whisk continuously until the gelatin dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
  • Carefully pour the warm mixture into silicone gummy molds or a lightly oiled 8x8 inch glass dish.
  • Transfer the molds or dish to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30-60 minutes, or until the gummies are firm.
  • Once firm, pop the gummies out of their molds or cut them into desired shapes if using a dish, then enjoy.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a drop of natural extract like vanilla or coconut to the mixture before chilling. Store leftover gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
