  • 2-2.5 pounds Salmon fillets skin on or off, cut into 8 portions
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
  • 6-8 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Lemon large, cut into wedges for serving, and 1-2 tablespoons of juice for the skillet
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Cooking Steps

  • Pat salmon fillets dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Place salmon skin-side down in the hot skillet and sear for 4-6 minutes, until crispy and halfway cooked.
  • Flip the salmon, reduce heat to medium, add melted butter and minced garlic, then continuously spoon the garlic butter over the salmon for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove from heat, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon, and garnish with chopped parsley; serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Ensure salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for food safety. For best results, use a high-quality olive oil and fresh ingredients.
