  • 3-4 tbsp lemon juice Juice of 1 large lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for a little kick)

  • Pat the shrimp dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add minced garlic to the hot oil and cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Pour in broth and lemon juice, bring to a simmer, and scrape up any browned bits; cook for 1-2 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
  • Remove from heat, stir in fresh parsley, adjust seasoning as needed, and serve immediately.
